Our team

When we take on a new member of staff they undertake a thorough induction process which complies with the Care Quality Commissions Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, as well as Health and Social Care Act 2008.

We train all of our carers with core courses in:

  • Adult Safeguarding Awareness
  • Fire Safety
  • Infection Control
  • Palliative Care
  • First Aid
  • Health and Safety
  • Medication
  • Dementia (the person-centered approach)
  • Food Hygiene
  • Hoist Training
  • Record Keeping
  • End of Life Care

All carers are supervised every three months and have annual appraisals together with ongoing training to include any specialist service user’s needs.
