September – Gill, Natalie, Karen, Heather, Nicky and Mollie took part in the Hawkstone  Colour Run. The world’s  most colourful 3K run in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on 2nd September 2017. We were sprayed with paint throughout the run as you can see in the photos. We raised £212 for this wonderful cause.

2016 Updates

November – We had our CQC inspection on 29th September 2016. Not only have we been rated as ‘Good’ but the inspector also gave us some really positive feedback. To view the full report, click the link. CQC Report 2016

May – Sovereign recently sponsored the fifth hole at the annual Adam Millichip Foundation’s Golf Day, a charity that provides financial support and assistance to disabled people wishing to participate in sports. The winning team are pictured below! http://www.adammillichipfoundation.org/memorial-golf-day

April – Despite our recent nomination at the 2016 Shropshire partners in care (SPIC) awards in the End of Life category, we were a little sad to miss out on this acolade. However, we had a fantastic evening at Park Inn, Telford and would like to take this opportunity to thank the eventual winners (Churchill House Nursing Home, Ludlow) in their success. We would also like to pay our respects to all our staff whose hard work and dedication to providing incredibly high quality care was recognised by SPIC which led to our initial nomination at the ceremony.

February – We are pleased to announce that Sovereign have been shortlisted for an End of life award by Shropshire Partners in care (SPIC) and we will be attending their bi-annual awards ceremony in April.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the family of the late Mrs Cole for their recent kind donation.

Also thank you to the family of the late Mr D for their generous donation towards the staff funds.
